Smothering Nutella over your pasta is a meal no longer relegated to the realms of hedonistic late night munchie jaunts in the privacy of my own kitchen (don't look at me).
An Australian restaurant has decided this is a delicacy the world needs, nay, deserves, so they're serving up Nutella pasta in celebration of World Pasta Day (apparently a thing) on Oct. 25.

So what the heck's in it? The dessert features chocolate pasta, covered in a Nutella sauce spiked with Frangelico. Then, it’s 'dusted' with white chocolate ‘parmesan’ (hoo boy) and topped with raspberries, almond flakes and mint. JFC.
Believe it or not, it's not the first Nutella pasta to sashay its way onto plates in Australia. Sydney's Nutella-themed cafe (Chicago's got one too), Tella Balls Dessert Bar beat them to the punch with a Nutella fettuccine.
Australia has a history of rabidly indulging in the hazelnut spread. The country suffered a nationwide shortage of Nutella in 2015. A shortage.
Adelaide threw an entire festival for Nutella, fried Nutella ice cream has been a thing, and Tella Ball shakes — cinnamon doughnuts pumped full of Nutella and slammed atop a boring shitty milkshake — were arguably one of the biggest, most overrated food trends in Sydney in late 2015.
