As was the case with the viral tweet about them predicting Trump's election win, though, the tweets should be taken with a pinch of salt.
The image from the tweet, of Santa's Little Helper bouncing on a trampoline, appears to have been taken from the 1993 episode, Bart's Inner Child.
If you look closely at the picture, though, there are signs that it's been photoshopped.
It's likely that this image, of Homer bouncing on a trampoline while Bart and Lisa watch, is the original.
In fairness, the original tweet was obviously just meant as a bit of a joke.
But it's interesting that it's already been shared hundreds of times, and -- in the space of a couple of hours -- it's being presented as fact.
