Sonic the Hedgehog,Watch Peaky Blinders star of the upcoming movie Sonic The Hedgehog, looks so unsettling.

The first trailer for Sonic The Hedgehoghit the internet on Tuesday morning, forever changing the way we think about the speedy blue mammal who began his life as a simple video game protagonist. Sonic looks so weird, and people cannot let it go.

Jokes and criticisms immediately flooded Twitter when the trailer hit. The messages form the public vary, but everyone seems to agree that Sonic is looking bad.

Many people were immediately concerned with Sonic's teeth, which look way too human.

The comparisons to other characters began pouring in quickly and they are not flattering.

Sonic's likeness to Jim Carrey's Grinch character is particularly funny knowing Carrey is playing Sonic's nemesis Dr. Robotnik in Sonic The Hedgehog.

Nibel points out that Sonic's scream looks like the unsettling album cover for King Crimson's elusive masterpiece The The Court of The Crimson King.

It's no wonder James Marsden's character was so frightened by Sonic.

Sure, we get that it's a live action movie and you don't want a cartoon-looking character int he movie, but did the difference have to be this big?

Sonic The Hedgehogspeeds into theaters in November.
