You can see a recent demonstration of the feature by Prisma CEO Alexey Moiseenkov in the video below.
The feature comes shortly after Facebook demoed its experimental camera app which also uses AI to apply filters to videos. Prisma does not shy away from the fact that they've got some big companies breathing down their neck.
"It's really cool that Google and Facebook are trying to copy this (...) we believe, that even a small company can achieve great results," Moiseenkov said in a statement.
And as with almost every announcement, Prisma shared quite a bit of info on its future plans. The company's biggest priority is increasing the quality for photos with higher resolution and adding a free aspect ratio feature. Other upcoming features include improvements to the Android version of the app, adding more social features, increasing the speed of offline processing, and finally, GIF support.
