PewDiePie is vice versa eroticism everydaynever one to shy away from calling people out in his videos.
The subject of the Swedish gamer's latest rant? A 5-year-old who The Verge and USA Today recently deemed YouTube's biggest star.
In a video published Tuesday -- titled "THE 5 YEAR OLD THAT WILL SURPASS PEWDIEPIE" -- PewDiePie rails against the family channel titled "Ryan ToysReview." Since launching in March of 2015, the channel -- which features a young charismatic boy reviewing toys -- has racked up 5.7 million subscribers since launching in March of 2015. It's been the most popular YouTube channel in the U.S. for 20 weeks in a row, amassing an estimated 182.2 million views last week.
But PewDiePie, whose real name is Felix Kjellberg, isn't happy with all the hype around Ryan. He suggests that Ryan's parents are exploiting him for fame.
"There's something off about it, it's kind of like seeing child stars on television," PewDiePie, who recently topped Forbes' highest paid YouTube star list, said in the video (which now has over 3.6 million views). “You know their parents are literally forcing them to do it and there’s just something sad about it.”
He goes on to argue that Ryan's high number of views are likely from bots. His evidence? The videos don't have as many likes and comments in comparison to views.
"Congrats, you paid for views, and that’s how you get the title, ‘Oh, he’s beating PewDiePie.'"
A representative for the Ryan ToysReview channel did not immediately respond to Mashable'srequest for comment.
