Unsolicited dick pics are Watch I Don't Love You Yet Onlineunfortunately a scourge of life on social media, but one clever woman from Scotland has found a searingly clever way of dealing with the men who send them.
Last week, Rebecca Mcgregor, a 21-year old lingerie model and photographer, posted documentation on Facebook of her very effective strategy: going straight to the source’s mom.
Yesssss. This isn't the first time someone's done something like this, but nevertheless her post has stirred quite a reaction.
So why was she pushed to take such a drastic step? She told Mashableshe's bombarded with multiple unwanted nude photos daily, probably more than most people, thanks to her chosen line of work.
This particular instance, she said, was "just the 'straw that broke the camels back.'" Fair enough.

She's not been dissuaded, though. She said, "I've been told to 'block,' 'delete,' and 'ignore' it, but would we ignore if a stranger flashed you in the street? Some people seem to find it acceptable to do (mostly males that do the same thing as this guy). It's all very well 'ignoring' it but that doesn't make the problem go away does it?"
While this method alone is not going to stop the onslaught of online harassment, it is a very satisfying thing to see happen. And perhaps the threat of being told on to their moms will be enough to shame some guys into re-thinking how they approach women online.
