The postal service dedicated the stamp collection on Friday, along with the help of original series cast member Walter Koenig, who played the navigation officer Pavel Chekov.
"With the chaos in today’s world, hopefully the stamps and what they signify can inspire a better future for us all,” said Koenig in a statement. The postal service is celebrating the release of the stamps and the series on Twitter with the hashtag #StarTrekForever.
If you buy a sheet of 20 Star Trekcommemorative stamps, they appear in a special grid with the original Star Trek logo above and Captain Kirk's refrain, "Space...the final frontier" below.
So celebrate and send your mail boldly where it has never gone before: an actual mailbox.
