With the tech world recovering from a CES hangover002 Archives you may have missed some of this week's best apps.
Each weekend, we round up a few of our favorite new and updated apps. This week's list includes an app that allows you to switch seamlessly between ebooks and audio books, two apps that help you focus better and an app that makes waking up in the morning more fun.
The hardest part of waking up is staying awake and not falling back asleep. AlarmMon tries to solve this issue by only turning off the alarm once you have completed a mission in the game. The app also lets you customize your morning mission to your liking.
Free: iOS and Android
Brushstroke is an app that lets you make photos look like paintings, similar to Prisma and others, but with a twist: it allows you to order prints of your photos directly from the app and delivers them to your doorstep.

Dottted is a fun and simple game based on art by Yoni Alter. The game is a bit like a visual hangman. You try to guess the animal in the photo by tapping on the screen. It’s a quick and beautiful game with some unique and original artwork.

Duobook is a new app that aims to seamlessly switch between reading and listening to the same story. You can choose the ebook setting when you want to read, and switch to audiobook when you want to use your ears instead of your eyes.

Forest is an app to help you control your phone addiction. If you can’t resist looking at your phone while at work, in class or when you're out with friends, this app can help. When you want to focus, select for how long and hit Start. The app “plants“ a tree that starts growing when you keep your phone aside. Do anything with your phone and the tree dies -- start over, black thumb! As you keep focusing longer and longer, you build up a forest of your progress. Best of all, you can spend your points towards planting real trees.
Free: Android, $1.99: iOS
From game developer Zach Gage, Sage Solitaireis a fun and addictive twist to the classic time-wasting card game. Every round goes by quickly, but be careful, you may find yourself spending hours playing this delightful game.

Space uses neuroscience to help you kick your app addictions. You can choose the list of apps that you want some space from. Then, when you try to open those apps, you'll experience a moment of peaceful meditation before it loads.
