If you're going to put cheese on Watch Exotic Forbidden Pleasures Onlinea pizza, why stop at one? Why, indeed?
A pizza place in Portland, Oregon, took this pizza-stential question very seriously, deciding they had nothing to lose by totally just going for it. So, as part of an annual Portland celebration of pizza, Scottie's Pizza Parlor created a pie using 101 cheeses.

In fact, Australian pizzamaker Johnny di Francesco did create a 99-cheese pizza in real life to prove it could be done. But Scottie's Pizza Parlor wanted to do one (or, actually two) better.
The pizza's ingredients include a shredded 55-cheese blend and 36 other soft cheeses, plus a blend of nine grated cheeses. There's also aged part-skim mozzarella stuffed in the crust.
Wow.
Scottie Riviera told Fox News that they wanted the pizza to taste like a regular cheese pizza—at least initially. “With the first bite, you don’t know what to expect, so you can almost mistake it for a regular slice," Riviera said. "Then you chew a little more and you start to get a lot of character here: there’s things going on, it’s almost hard to place.”
Alas, the the opportunity to taste-test this groundbreaking pizza is no longer. It was available just for one day.
Scottie's Pizza Parlor has applied to the Guinness World Records for the distinction of Most Cheeses on a Pizza. While it isn't certificate-official, pizza lovers everywhere will recognize this feat for what it is —amazing.
