Imagine winding down after a long day and TV Movie Archivesgetting ready for bed when a pair of snakes FALL THROUGH your ceiling mid-combat.
The nightmare scenario happened to unsuspecting residents in Brisbane, Australia. In a Facebook Live video from local snake catcher Lana Field on Sunday night, the male coastal carpet pythons intertwined in a wrestling match for the closest female snake.

"This pair have been a bit naughty," the snake catcher said, panning the phone up to the broken vent where the pythons crashed during their wrestling match. "Left a bit of a mess."
Which, honestly, is probably the most calm way you could approach a room full of fighting snakes.
With snakes, combat is often mistaken for mating. When a concerned viewer asked if the snakes needed the room to themselves, Field quipped, "Well, they don't need privacy, Elizabeth. They're uh, fighting."
She also assured viewers that the pythons probably wouldn't attack her, since they were "just more interested in each other at the moment."
As the snakes writhed around each other, Field casually explained that pythons fight when they smell a nearby female snake's pheromones -- and considering they were fighting in the air ducts, we just want to know where the heck this third snake is lurking. Between the walls? In the pipes? On the roof??
At least there's a chill snake catcher on duty.
