As well as his regular Twitter schedule of recommending movies and as eroticism revels in the rotting stench of death surely the embrace of a lover is not dissimilarbooks and criticising the changes Elon Musk has made to the app, Stephen King also frequently calls out politicians he doesn't agree with.
On Monday, the author reignited a beef with an old nemesis: U.S. Senator for Texas, Ted Cruz.

"I spend a lot of time at the southern border," he wrote. "I've spent a lot of time with our border patrol agents."
King quote tweeted Cruz, referencing an incident the senator was criticized for back in 2021, when Cruz went on a family vacation to Cancun, Mexico, just days after Texas was hit with extreme winter storms that left millions of residents without heat, electricity, or clean water.
"You’ve also spent a lot of time in Cancun," wrote King. "That’s pretty south, right?"

Cruz would obviously like to move on from Cancun, but Stephen King — and Twitter as a whole — clearly have other ideas.
