And if you need a little more firepower, you can opt for the 16-inch version with the M4 Max chip (or a more specced-out version of the 14-incher). Ever since Apple introduced its M series silicon, it's been running laps around the competition. However, in the past year or so, Qualcomm's Snapdragon X Elite chips started matching or beating the M3. But the new MacBooks equipped with the M4 chip are back on top, according to our benchmark testing. In her review of the M4 MacBook Pro, Mashable East Coast Tech Editor Kimberly Gedeon wrote that "Windows PCs must feel sick right now."

Where can you get the best price on the MacBook Pro? Forget the Apple Store. The new M4 MacBook Pro laptop is at its lowest-ever price at Amazon and Best Buy for Black Friday. However, it's currently out of stock at Amazon, though probably not for long.
