A bookstore in Wyoming is Watch Soul Onlinebringing its customers back to the dark age, before the soft glow of phones and laptops illuminated everyone's faces.
Wind City Books, a book/coffee shop in Casper, Wyoming, has been getting attention (online, oddly enough) for a sign posted in the front of its shop, telling customers to put their electronics away.
The sign reads:
Nope, no WiFi.
Welcome to a place for [books] and [coffee]. Please leave your [phones] and [laptops] in your bag.
Take a break! Live like it's 1993. Emails can wait."
"We want people to be able to come into this store, relax, enjoy a book -- you know, find a book for them that's going to work well, either entertain or inform them," store owner Vicki Burger told KTRK.
