Kapoor might be attempting to emulate Kardashian's Kimoji app which gives you access to over 400 stickers and GIFs on any messaging or social media platform, but she has a long way to go. Her emojis are accessible only within the Sonam Kapoor app, which has recorded only 50,000 downloads on Google's Play Store, close to a year since its launch.
Sonam Kapoor is one of the most social media savvy celebrities in India and is the first Bollywood actor to have her personal app.
Her app is a destination for her fans to get a glimpse of the actor's off-screen life. It also allows them a chance to directly interact with her, post messages and comments, and view special live-streams.
