A witness told The Sunthat Hardy "switched into superhero mode" and uttered "I caught the c***t" after finding the man.
“I asked Tom what happened and he told me he chased him through my back garden and caught him around the block — but the route was like an assault course," the witness said.
The chase started after two men jumped a red light at a busy junction and crashed the moped into a £50,000 Mercedes near Hardy's home in Richmond.
Another onlooker said Hardy told him: “This little s*** nicked something and now he’s got himself a broken leg.”
