Millie Bobby Brown,Guardami (1999) watch online who plays Eleven on Stranger Things, revealed she once went for the role of the X-23 in Logan.
SEE ALSO: The 'X-Men' franchise doesn't care about continuity – and that's what makes it so goodBrown dished on her Loganaudition in an interview with Evan Rachel Wood for Variety:
Asked what her best audition experience was, Brown recalled the time she tried out for Laura (a.k.a. X-23) in Logan.
I went for it. It meant so much to me. I was filming Stranger Things, and I was like, 'This is gonna be amazing, I'm gonna really prepare,' and I sat in my room reading the lines. And honestly, for me, I felt so – I felt an actor, in the audition room, hitting Hugh Jackman, and James Mangold sitting right in front of me.
Although Brown ultimately lost out to Dafne Keen, she's a good sport about it. "I watched it. She was incredible," Brown said of the other actress' work in the movie.
It's not hard to see how Brown might look like an obvious choice for X-23. Like Eleven, X-23 is a strong, silent type who's been gifted with incredible powers and raised in a lab.
But that may be exactly why it's for the best that Brown didn'tget the role. X-23 probably would've seemed like too much of a retread for Brown. Besides, Keen's so perfect in that part it's hard to imagine anyone else inhabiting it quite as well.
And anyway, while Brown didn't get to show up in Loganearlier this spring, it won't be long before she's back in our lives and on our screens. She's expected back in Stranger ThingsSeason 2, which kicks off this fall.
