A new version of Inferno has been released in a beta branch of CS:GOand everyone is loving it. You can check out some of the major differences in this gallery:
Infernew
Some of the most notable changes to Inferno are better lighting overall, better visibility on Bombsite A, a widened chokepoint at Banana (the path from terrorist spawn to Bombsite B) and no more dark room in Apartments.
You can see even more changes in the new Inferno in this walkthrough by YouTuber Bl0odwork:
Inferno has received a lot of criticism for its balance issues, which usually leads to huge counter-terrorist leads in the first half of games. This along with low lighting, narrow chokepoints, and varied visibility (both too much and too little in different locations) have kept Inferno out of the map pool at professional tournaments.
The pros and analysts that have taken a look only have positive things to say about the update so far.
