But is there a price to pay when letting an algorithm decide who you will love? When in exchange for this undying, ageless love, technology can access the innermost recesses of your mind -- and the best kept secrets of your heart.
Ruh-roh.
The eight-episode Osmosishails from showrunner Audrey Fouché (who wrote for the acclaimed original version of The Returned, Les Revenants) and Versailles producers Aude Albano and Claude Chelli. The show's premiere date will be announced later.
“I am very excited about the rare opportunity to create a futuristic series in France and join together with Netflix and Capa Drama for my first project," said Fouché. "In this eight episode series, the future I have imagined holds a mirror to present day mixing an eternal question - 'what is love?' – with ultra-technological answers, sometimes incredibly seducing, sometimes extremely dangerous. Netflix offers an ideal platform to explore these very contemporary stories in an innovative way, which I am looking forward to sharing soon.”
