Say what you will about Donald Trump: he's an inspiration to Americans who want to run for public office with absolutely no qualifying experience.
In an interview with Varietyon Monday, erotice اÙلام Ù…Øارم activist and filmmaker Michael Moore suggested that Democrats should consider running a celebrity for office in 2020. At the top of Moore's list? Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

It would scare anybody that would hurt us,” Moore told Variety. “Think about how safe we would be if the Rock was president.”
Via GiphyNevermind that the Rock is a registered Republican who appeared at the 2000 Republican National Convention to boost voter registration. Or that he has no political experience and few known political views.
He is veryfamous and people like him and sadly, that appears to be all that matters when winning elections.
"I’ll be honest, I haven’t ruled politics out. I’m not being coy when I say that, but at the moment I am not sure,” Johnson told GQ last June. “I can’t deny that the thought of being governor, the thought of being president, is alluring. And beyond that, it would be an opportunity to make a real impact on people’s lives on a global scale. But there are a lot of other things I want to do first.”
Moore further encouraged Democrats to run celebrities, including Tom Hanks and Oprah Winfrey.
"Why we don't run someone who's beloved by the American people?" Moore said. "People love Hollywood."
It's not a bad idea -- just a profoundly depressing one.
