For all the controversy around its launch,A Male Friend Who Spins it Around No Man's Skysure does continue to get more and more awesome.
The game's latest update -- dubbed "Pathfinder Update" -- adds a handful of new features to the game, including a permadeath mode, base-sharing via Steam Workshop, ship specializations, ground vehicles, a wider range of graphics settings and PlayStation 4 Pro support. Also (and best of all): a new and improved photo mode.
SEE ALSO: All the new 'No Man's Sky' Foundation update features, summarizedNo Man's Skyhas technically had a photo mode in place since November 2016 when the Foundation Update launched. The new one -- which Hello Games built with help from video game "sharpshotter" Dead End Thrills -- sports a number of significant upgrades.
Pathfinder's new-and-improved photo modes lets you untether the camera, so you can pan around to set up your perfect shot and snap exterior views of your ship(s). You can also change the time of day, cloud layers, or fog density and add an assortment of filters.
No Man's Skyis already a gorgeous game, so new photo features that open up the degree of screenshot customization are welcome. Dead End Thrills posted a bunch of shots already, but the rest of the No Man's Sky-loving internet is starting to catch on as well.
